I Stood There

there i stood in heart bright with no light 
surrounded by walls which are high out of sight
throwing the fear far away from the day and night
just to hear my dearest star saying alright

how could the wind blow the heart beat into restrained tears
fading the smile because nothing followed the memories

how could we sit in the middle of silence
buying the bittersweet so that buried in patience

then i stood there in heart bright with no light
wondering when i can be safe from the flight
